Part 8;
New High Tech Medical
Campus and Research Center

I’m not well versed in this area or knowledgeable to want currently is going on in any state medically. Based on what I have seen in my personal experiences in the past with the Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic and Michigan’s DMC along with things I’ve seen about Thailand Medical Centers and a new high-tech, hospital in San Diego a few years back. It makes me think how any state might be able to do something creatively, advanced, giving their states residence a high level of advanced health care.

How about universities expanding their medical research, joining with other universities in their state, allowing advanced new knowledge available to all. Sharing in new research and working together with several universities on any given research situation in any state.

Expanding new techniques quicker for active medical doctors with patients, spreading out the testing and results over a given larger research group. Getting advanced medical advances quicker to hospitals for actual use in the field. Advances in Genetic Variations and uses for humans and the distinctive cellular signatures of diseases and the mutations of underlying illnesses and what the important target of a given disease is. Building on present day mechanical inventions, having robotics do new and advanced things, expanding their capabilities.

An area I am personally interested in is the buildup of calcifications in the arteries of the brain and heart and ways of alleviating the symptoms beyond that of diet or stints. These are just a few ideas of which I’m sure many others would have even more ideas and reasons to make things better for all cities in a given state and its citizens all across all states. Making medical treatments evenly distributed, technology wise in every hospital even rurally. For all cities in a state, shortening the research to patient time. My point is to expand and develop more than what is presently being done.

With the rising of populations within our cities, health issues can easily become critical as we’ve seen of late. Easily passing on any illnesses from person to person, as we have just learned. Answering and combating these health problems and controlling them is now top priority for any city. The rising influence of cities does accelerate any possible given virus in our cities. It will be important to have walk.in clinics in the residential areas of these new urban cities.

For the medical field to take stronger measures to foster public health, particularly when it comes to infectious illness, allowing urban clinics to keep a dose eye on any illnesses that may come about in a given area. These clinics should be arms of the hospitals within that city, monitoring all health. These new future cities will play an important role to improve their governance structures to protect and improve their system to become highly reactive to any and all health issues for their population in the event of any outbreak.

Well-designed cities; will offer residents easier access to medical care as well as health and wellness options. Clinics should offer classes and places to pause and reflect and awaken the senses through meditation, yoga and healthy eating options. Aiding the population to reduce stress and improve mind- body connection which is known to heal. A healthy city also strengthens community identity by broadening accessibility-supporting, multi generational or multi ethnic inclusiveness by developing public spaces that encourage community investment and social interaction.
