Founder Statement
Introduction
Since I was young, I have been attracted to construction and the building of things. When I was ten, my parents had a house built. Everyday after school I pedal myself to the site and I watched our new home being built. Watching the foundation going in and its footings, to the homes floors than the walls, the roof, the electrical, plumbing, heating etc. and even got payed to help with some of it. And on its completion I thought to myself, that’s really simple.
My first business was in Hydro Seeding, during college and branched out into soil preparation and than Lawn fertilizing, in the very early days of that type of business. Worked on road construction and sewer projects and state highway projects. As time went on, I branched into small landscaping work and than eventually into a firm of Design/Build projects. Doing projects for municipalities, commercial projects, hospitals, cities and residential, for builders, developer’s excavation contractors and home owners. I have always had an interest in architecture, planning, urban & rural with city development projects and I have worked in all of it. For my 7th grade science project, in my 64-65 school year, I did a report on Solar Energy and how it would become our future. I was very excited about it,….
I am a dream builder of dreams. I want to attract other dreamers, to be a part of this. I’m doing this for humanity. Building a new city from scratch is a complex issue and can not be done cheaply, or alone. I will need many to help. What could you do to help ?
I wish this first city to be crowd funded. I don’t want corporate monies in it, or very little. The citizens will own the city. We will grow our own food, or most of it will come from the local area. Members will fund and own & govern the city. Where else can you be a part of the building a city of the future ?
I am deeply disappointed in my generation. I was one of the hippie generation in Detroit at the time. We didn’t hold true to our ideals. So this is my one last shot to try and steer our direction back to a sane path. To give us a better direction to what could be for the next generation. They need a better life to look forward to, then what we are giving them now. We will be creating a better tomorrow for them. This is my last and final purpose and why I am here. To get humanity back on track.
We will produce our own food and clean energy. Our medical will be high tech, only simpler and with the understanding that we effect our own health, bye what we eat and think. We are our own creators of our lives. This city will be like no other, no one has even lived in. It will be a new clean and healthier way to live.
I will be joining rural with the urban. Cities will be designed for a given population. No crowded cities here. I have been given this plan divinely and is now my life’s purpose, even at my age. Watch me and you will see.
I wish to see places where we can live in a comfortable, clean, enjoyable environment that doesn’t hurt the Earth and benefits humanity. So we can live WITH the Earth. What ever happened to “building a better World ?”
I love doing this kind of work, I’ve been around construction all my life, since I was a kid. It’s why I did landscape Design/Build. I like giving people something that enhances their lives. So come along with me and become a 21st Century Citizen with me, lets show the world how to really live.
This project needs funding to get things started, I will be starting a youtube channel so people can follow along and keeping members up to date as to what is happening with their investment. “This is “ for and bye the people.” First thing needed is to hire Highly experienced architects and infrastructure engineers. To start designing what must be done. Next is to find and buy land. Get the city laid out. Land needs to be in a Green Zone, safe or in a neutral area of climate change effects. Yes there are those are’s. We will need an area of land about five square mile for about a hundred thousand people. We will also be looking for grant monies to help things along. So become a 21st century citizen. “Work is love made visible”
Margaret Mead once said “Never doubt that a small group of conscious and engaged citizens can change the world; in fact, it is the only thing that ever has.”
Lets all join together in this task to build our own city as a group to show humanity what is possible. It will only be done as a group, not a corporation, so come join with me in this important effort for us all. No One Else is going to do it.
